THE DEAD ZOO CATCH-UP
This is a one-page short that catches up on the action from The Dead Zoo (see here). I plan to create a second part to the story soon.
MIND THE BONES
I wrote this three-page story as a promotional teaser for my novel, Blood of the Wolf. It's the first period-piece I've drawn. Great fun with costumes. I'll be doing more like this.
THE FAN ARTIST
This is a one-page story I wrote and drew for a 2000AD art competition. Not strictly canon. I'd like to see Dredd's fridge door that evening.
THE DEAD ZOO, PART ONE
Leaving home is hard, especially when you’ve just buried your mother. It’s even harder when the world seems to be ending. Times like that call for pizza.
CANCELLED!
Filmstar Eddie Mars gets a visit from the police. Why has he suddenly become a pariah? Is it his tweets, his alleged assault of an employee, or something else entirely?
THE QUIET ZONE
A four page ‘future shock’ I pitched in story-form to 2000AD. I liked the story more than they did so I went ahead and drew it myself. My most recent effort.
THE ALMANACKER
My favourite story to date and the biggest leap forward in my art too. This is a six-page earth-bound sci-fi about a guy with a chip on his shoulder.
HALF LIFE
This is not a story I wrote. It's an art pitch for 2000AD, pages 1-4 of a six-page script. I include it because it’s a real leap forward in my art. Black and white as per their expectations.
BRAZIL
My friend, Peter, passed away in 2021. I wrote and drew this one-page story about a trip to the cinema with him to see the movie, 'Brazil'.
ENTANGLEMENTS
Like ‘The Almanacker’, this is the kind of story I really like to write. I drew this without using any references and the art unfortunately reflects that. But I still really like the story.
TIME TRAVEL PARTY
This wasn’t my first effort but it is the first one I’m willing to share here. Somehow it feels as polished as my more recent efforts. Two pages and minimal backgrounds help.
